INDIAN

During the past 3 months of my stay in abroad, I had the opportunity to study more books about our Indian Culture,
Religion,Literature. I have requested to recommend books & magazines which would help them to understand Indian culture, Religion, Tamil & Indian Literature, without going through a lot of technical details. Authors of many books on our culture,religion, literature etc assumes that the readers already know quite a bit about the subjects making their presentation difficult for a newly interested reader to understand. Moreover, the descendents of Indian immigrants ,unfamiliar with their religious heritage,ask their parents many questions which they are often unable to answer.
I request our Indian writers to write more books about India & more magazines about India .
