வலிக்கின்ற இதயத்தின் அழுகுரல்:

எங்கே போய்விட்டீர்கள் எல்லோரும்? மறைந்த முன்னாள் பிரதமர் ராஜீவ் காந்தி கொலை வழக்கில் குற்றவாளிகளென நீதிமன்றத்தினால் தீர்மானிக்கப் பட்டவர்களுக்கு மரணதண்டனை என்று தீர்ப்பளித்தபோது அதற்கெதிராக குரல் கொடுத்த அரசியல்வாதிகளும் சமூக நல அமைப்பாளர்களும் பொதுமக்களும் உலக நாடுகளும் அதன் தலைவர்களும் இப்போது எங்கே போய்விட்டீர்கள்?

தமிழக மீனவர்கள் ஐந்துபேருக்கு இலங்கையில் மரணதண்டனை! யார் யார் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவிக்கிறார்கள்? இலங்கை அரசிற்கு ஒன்று நான் சொல்லிக்கொள்ள விரும்புகிறேன், இந்திய வரைபடத்தில் கடலால் பிரிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பகுதியாகத்தான் இலங்கையைப் பார்க்கிறோமே தவிர வேற்று நாடென்று பிரித்துப் பார்க்கவில்லை நாங்கள்! அங்கு வாழும் அனைத்து மக்களையும் எம் சகோதர சகோதரிகளென்றே நாங்கள் பாவிக்கிறோம்!

தவறு செய்யும் மனிதர்களுக்கு நிச்சயம் தண்டனை கொடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும் இது தான் நியதி, அப்படி தவறு செய்யும் எல்லோருக்கும் மரண தண்டனைக் கொடுப்பதென்றால் இப்பூவுலகில் எம்மனிதனும் உயிருடன் இருக்க மாட்டான். எல்லா மனிதர்களும் ஏதோ ஒருவகையில் குற்றவாளிதான்! தான் வாழ வேண்டி தவறு செய்துகொண்டுதான் இருக்கிறான். ஏன் இலங்கையிலிருந்து பலர் குடிபெயர்ந்து தகுந்த ஆவணங்களின்றி அடுத்த நாடுகளில் வாழவில்லையா? தவறுகள் செய்யவில்லையா? அங்ஙனம் தவறு செய்பவர்களுக்கு மரணதண்டனை கொடுத்தால் இலங்கை மண்ணில் எத்தனை பேர் மிஞ்சுவர்?

தவறு செய்பவர்களுக்கு நிச்சயம் தண்டனை தேவை! ஆனால், எவ்வித தவறும் செய்யாமல் எல்லைக்கப்பால் சென்று மீன் பிடித்ததைத் தவிர வேறெந்த குற்றமும் செய்யாத எம்நாட்டு மீனவ சகோதரர்கள் மேல் போதை பொருள் கடத்தியதாக பொய்வழக்கு ஜோடிக்கப்பட்டு மரணதண்டனை கொடுப்பது எவ்விதத்தில் நியாயம்? தண்டனை கொடு ஆனால் அவர்கள் என்ன தவறு செய்தார்களோ அதற்கான தண்டனையை சட்டப்படி கொடு அதை விடுத்து எம்நாட்டு மக்களின் உணர்வை மதிக்காமல் நாட்டில் கொந்தளிப்பை ஏற்படுத்தும் விதமான தண்டனை கொடுக்காதே.

இலங்கை அரசே! எம்நாட்டு மீனவ சகோதரர்கள் மீது தொடரப்பட்ட வழக்கை மற்பரிசீலனை செய்! எம்நாட்டு அரசும் மக்களும் கொடுக்கும் விண்ணப்பங்களுக்கு செவிகொடு! இல்லையேல் இத்தவறுக்கு காரணமானோர் நிச்சயமொருநாள் குற்றவாளிக் கூண்டில் நிற்கவேண்டியிருக்கும். “நெற்றிக்கண் திறப்பினும் குற்றம் குற்றமே”

CRY OF AN ACHING HEART
Where all the politicians, Social Welfare organizers, General Public and the Nations, who have raised voice against the Judgment pronounced by Indian court awarding sentence to the culprits committed the assassination of our late Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, have gone now? Who have protested the sentence awarded to five Indian fishermen?
What I want to say now is that we have never seen Sree Lanka as an alien; but, indeed we are seeing it as a part of India separated by sea and the citizens of Sree Lanka are our brothers and sisters.
All the offenders are to be punished as per the law of the land. But, if all the offenders are sentenced with capital punishments, then, nobody will be there in the world with life. So, everyone is doing some sort of wrong to live in the world. Alas! How many Sree Lankans are migrating from their mother land to other countries without any proper authority?. Whether their act of doing so amounts to wrong or crime as per the law of the other countries, where they have migrated. In the event of punishing them with capital punishment as per the law of the other countries, then, how many will be remaining?
Offenders are to be punished certainly. But, how the tendency of foisting false cases against our brothers, who have committed only the offence of fishing beyond the territorial Sea limit and who have never committed the offence for which they are punished, can be justified. Let them be punished for the actual offence committed, but the punishment should not hurt our feelings and the sentiment of universal brotherhood.
Oh! the Government of Sree Lanka, kindly reconsider the case foisted and punished against our fishing brothers; Or else one day the persons responsible for this crime have to repent and be in the Accused Box, “Crime is always a crime even if the third eye is opened”
In protest of the punishment of Sree Lanka and in support of our fishing brothers, we have decided to observe holiday on 10.11.2014 for our institution “Heena Fashion World”. Those who are able to stand with us are welcome to do it as a token of protest.
