Diseases

Diseases are said to be visitations of God
I have no hesitations to accept it and give it my nod
Diseases are said to be the after effects of our sin
That make one take medicines like erythromycin
Many diseases are the results of our action
Many others are the results of our inaction
Some diseases are offsprings of insanitation
Resulting from solid waste and dirty water stagnation
Some are the causes of uncontrolled pollution
that we see around us; It is true and is no illusion
They are the cause for grief and poverty
They suck our energy and our property
There is a need to maintain cleanliness
Which is said to be next to Godliness
Sans diseases, we may forget all about Almighty
We may think that we humans are very mighty
It is the disease that reminds us of Him
Not the mere prayers, songs and the hymns
They are warnings given to us by the Lord
to mend our ways and to be above board
To focus on the right things in our everyday life
To lead a life free from needless worry and strife.
