படித்த தமிழர்களில் 99.9% பேர் தங்கள் பெயர்களுடன் சாதிப் பெயர்களைச் சேர்த்து கொளவதில்லை. ஆனால் தமிழரல்லாத பிற இந்தியர் அனைவரும் குடியரசுத் தலைவர் உட்பட அறிவியல் அறிஞர்கள், சிந்தனையாளர்கள் பொறியாளர்கள், ஆசிரியர்கள் அதிகாரிகள் அரசியல் தலைவர்கள் எல்லாம் தங்கள் பெயருடன் சாதிப் பெயரையும் சேர்த்துக் கொள்கிறார்களே அதற்கு என்ன காரணம்? எழுதப் படிக்கத் தெரிந்தவர் அதிகம் உள்ள கேரளாவும் இதில் அடங்கும்.

You need not agree with my views. My argument is logical and rational. Caste problem is a serious issue in our country. At least educated people (the elite) should shed their caste suffixes as the first step towards the eradication of the caste system which is a bane preventing the establishment of an egalitarian society. No harm in answering in Tamil. It is the only classical language spoken by more than 6 crore people all over the world. It is not a language used only in ceremonies or class rooms. I think you don’t want to understand my point. You are beating about the bush. Okay.

I would not like to argue with anyone in this place. Every one have their own views which is non of my business. My love is with the language nothing else. I appreciate and respect every ones own view. Some times silence is greater than argument which i strongly beleive. 15-Mar-2014 12:48 pm
தேர்தலில் நிற்க குறிப்பிட்ட தகுதிகள் அவசியம் இருக்க வேண்டும். கல்வி - வயது - நல்ல பண்பு - சமூக அக்கறை - உதவும் மனப்பான்மை - பொது தொண்டில் நாட்டம் இதை பற்றி தங்களுடைய கருத்து?

கண்டிப்பாக தேர்தலில் நிற்பவருக்கு வேண்டும்...
ஆனால் வெற்றி பெறுவோருக்கு இந்த தகுதிகள் போதாது...
இதற்கு நேர் மாறான தகுதிகள் உடையவரே வெல்கிறார்...

மாடர்ன் சமுதாயம் என சொல்லிக்கொண்டு,பாவாடை தாவணி,கண்டாங்கி சேலை அணிந்த பெண்டீர்,இன்று மற்றவர்கள் என்னை பார்க்க வேண்டும் என உள்ளாடைகளை வெளியாடைகளாய் அணிவது ஒப்புக்கொள்ள கூடுமா?.

உங்கள் கேள்வியின் பொருள் புரிகிறது நண்பரே.நீங்கள் சொல்வது போல் உள்ளாடைகளை வெளியாடைகளாய் அணிவது ஒப்புக்கொள்ள முடியாதது தான் .ஆனால் அதற்காக பாவாடை தாவணியும் கண்டாங்கி சேலையும் கட்டி தான் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதும் ஒப்புக்கொள்ள முடியாதது தான்.உடல் மறைக்கும் ஆடை எதுவாக இருந்தாலும் அணிந்து கொள்ளலாம் என்பதே ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள கூடிய கருத்து.

the society is the problem. From olden days women was identified as a asset. Except Bharathi no one respected women or even think to give her equal space.
