The number of Senior Citizens is rising and the increase in number of oldest old is expected to increase by 300% during he next 40 years.The developed World has experienced the consequences of ageing population and has polycies and services to sustain an acceptable level of quality of life while in the world we need to go a long way o ensure that our elderly are assured of minimum income,health care and family care or in its absence societal care.It calls the attention of POLIICIANS,POLICYMKERS,SERVICE PROVIDERS, INSTITUTIONS involved n he care of older persons, famlies and senior citizens themselves.
